Nelipot

Thanks for joining me!

This is the first entry to precede many. I look forward to sharing many of poetic works with you and for a simple start I share Nelipot with you.

Nelipot is a poem I wrote based on the definition of the title. My goal was to give the definition life and imagery and challenge myself to define it in a unique way.

Nelipot

An enchanting lady you’d love to meet

Saunters around with silt stained feet,

As the rain softened, meadow mud

Gives way to every springtime bud.

You’re sure to find this barefoot beauty

Meandering in fields without worry.

And if her name is what you sought,

You’ll find she’s fondly called Nelipot.
